The jobAs the Vice President of C&I Strategic Alliances, your primary responsibility is to embody Omnidian’s vision, that of being a partner for a sustainable future, in all interactions with clients and prospects. Omnidian provides Performance Assurance solutions for operating distributed energy assets including solar and storage.  You will be an ambassador for Omnidian’s mission and values, ensuring Omnidian delivers its value proposition, while also advocating on behalf of the client within the organization. Your leadership will strengthen partnerships and reinforce Omnidian’s role as a trusted advisor to our strategic allies.  Your focus will be expanding our Corporate relationships in the C&I sector.In your day-to-day role, you will manage the sales cycle from identification and qualification of leads to sales pitch and proposal generation, through contract negotiation and close, staying vigilant and responsive to your active deals and incoming leads.  In addition to generating recurring revenue by landing new agreements and contract renewals for Omnidian’s commercial investor clients, you will be a conduit for customer needs and market intelligence back to the organization. You will also serve as a critical voice in the enhancement of our sales process, removing friction from the client experience, and driving automation across the organization while coaching others through best practices. This role reports directly to the Vice President of C&I Strategic Alliances.   What You’ll DoAt Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing: Sales·        Identify and source new clients with a focus on the Corporate sectorDrive awareness and revenue Identify new products and service needsAchieve revenue goalsDevelop sales strategies tailored to targeted segments and aligned to Omnidian’s value proposition·        Demonstrates process for quickly assessing and prioritizing new prospects ·        Lead and execute upon various business development deliverables, including generating proposals for clients and prospects·        Manage entirety of sales process for new prospects from pricing to proposal to contracting and onboarding phases·        Build industry relationships to create raving fans for Omnidian’s comprehensive Performance Assurance solutions·        Engage in rapid cross-team collaboration with Product, Operations, and other Senior Leadership to develop expanded scopes that meet market demand·        Manage sales pipeline, provide revenue forecasts, and deliver to growth forecastsStrategic Alliance Management ·        Manage and expand existing relationships that have been transitioned·        Maintain and generate new business with existing customers·        Ensure and manage client satisfaction ·        Facilitate continuous improvement efforts with cross-functional teams in Product, Operations, Engineering and Finance to deliver exceptional client expectations·        Conduct semi-annual business reviews, mutually agreed upon client touchpoints, VOC surveys, client testimonials, client relationship plans, smaller client check-ins, etc.Contract Management·        Negotiate contract terms and conditions, payment structures and schedules with external parties, while protecting company interests·        Verify through internal legal approval channels and meticulously document executed agreements.·        Clearly communicate contractual entitlements and obligations to internal teams, such as Operations and Finance Experience You’ll Need        Advanced understanding of Corporate clients and proven ability and track record of successful sales into the Corporate sector       Advanced understanding of distributed generation development and performance       Ability to collaboratively work laterally across the organization        Demonstrated record of identifying and assessing new opportunities and achieving success        Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred)        10+ years of professional experience, within the solar industry a bonus
