The Role


We are a fast-growing Series-A company looking for passionate individuals who will create solutions for the most important issue of our time. Our focus will be on developing climate resilience tools for various sectors, with agriculture as our initial market.  We’re looking for a smart, passionate, team-oriented Head of Sales to spearhead ClimateAi’s sales growth beyond our initial $1M ARR in founder-led sales.


This person’s primary focus will be helping ClimateAi prioritize among market opportunities,  iterate on their sales playbook, provide on-going product feedback, and development of the sales team. This role requires someone with the ability to extract signal from noise in highly uncertain environments, combining both analytical and qualitative decision making abilities. We are looking for an individual with deep experience in product-driven solutions selling. 

This role will be best suited for someone with entrepreneurial ambitions who want to build the sales team of a fast growing company from scratch.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Direct ownership of sales growth
  • Sell to larger enterprise deals 
  • Implement a Sales Strategy to tackle immediate sales targets through upselling, lead-generation, process improvement, pricing, coaching, etc.
  • Empower the sales team to close deals and support them on existing pipeline and lead growth
  • When appropriate recruit and build out the sales team
  • Work closely with Product team to help evolve and implement the product vision
  • Grow with us: opportunities to take on more responsibilities as our company and needs grow

The Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales (deal sizes $75K+ ARR)
  • 2+ years of sales management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of adapting styles to different audiences – from CEOs to climate scientists
  • Strong deductive reasoning abilities
  • A good listener: able to hear and understand the customer need and the different perspectives of relevant stakeholders
  • Led a sales team from $1-10m in ARR or lead a sub-group during a company’s growth through those milestones 
  • Experience recruiting a high performing team of account executives
  • Experience in technology / SaaS companies, management consulting, and/or start up environment
  • Experience in climate, supply chain, data science, Food & Ag is a plus
  • Most importantly, a passion for working to help address the issue of climate change
