WHO YOU ARE

As our Marketing Lead, you will drive all marketing and communications programs for the company, working with our VP, Marketing in elevating the Sila brand, building awareness for the company and our products, driving content development, improving our social media presence, managing our PR efforts, and owning corporate event management.  You are an exceptional writer and communicator, a master at all things marketing, and thrive in a dynamic, get-it-done environment.  You have experience diving deep into technology to produce high-impact marketing tools and elevating the narrative to position a brand more broadly.  You will play an instrumental role in shaping our presence in the marketplace, solidifying Sila’s leadership position for the long-term.  

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

  • Participate in the development of our marketing strategy and plan, leading the execution of all deliverables and milestones
  • Drive the launch of a refreshed brand identity, working with our creative agency to roll out a new visual design for all outbound assets including website, videos, and collateral
  • Bring a corporate blog to life and manage content development and distribution across all outbound channels
  • Manage the rollout of launches and news releases to ensure maximum impact
  • Own all marketing projects from start to finish, including company conferences, trade shows, & major events; social media marketing strategy; public relations & creative design functions; and budget management and reporting

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. Master’s degree, degree in technical field is a plus
  • 7+ years work experience in Marketing at a technical company, ideally from the Semiconductor, Solar/Energy, Consumer Electronics, or Battery sectors
  • Experienced building brands and developing clear and differentiated company/ product positioning
  • Command of social media and content marketing and engaged actively across multiple channels
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, & written communication skills. Exceptional copywriting skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Professional and proactive work ethic. Loves juggling multiple projects at once
