Job Description

WHO YOU ARE

As a Program Manager at Sila, you’ll play a key role both inside the company and out, as a strong advocate for the customer. You will support and lead our work programs to successful completion and help ensure our customers’ successful products launch in the market.

You’ll work directly with our customers and partners in North America, Europe, and Asia. Our programs are highly technical: the ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with technical teams, and also able to communicate clearly across different parts of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Build relationships within Customer, Partner, and Sila teams to align program strategy, direction, and changes
  • Responsible for tracking key program milestones and recommending adjustments
  • Establish and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams at Sila and Customers
  • Represent and advocate for Customer
  • Create efficient processes for assessing, reporting on, and managing scarce resources, technical dependencies, and other program risks
  • Facilitate cell builds at partner by assuring all materials are available as needed
  • Travel to Customer and Partner locations (primarily North America/ Asia/ Europe) to develop, set, and update program plans

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Develop strong working relationships inside the company, with customers, and partners
  • Be comfortable with technical & business audiences
  • Build agreement across program stakeholders
  • Experience working with large companies, preferably automotive and/or consumer electronics manufacturers
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment in which changes are the norm
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline, Master’s Degree a plus
