THE ROLE

We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our UK business. You will act as the first point of contact for HR and people related queries from employees and external partners.

Your main duties would include two keys areas: maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and providing on boarding and ongoing support to UK team members. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labour laws.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update job descriptions
  • Post roles and conduct initial interviews
  • Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback and identify areas of improvement
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics, like turnover and retention rates
  • Address employee requests and potential issues (e.g. grievances)
  • Act as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members
  • Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labour legislation
  • Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days

Requirements

Proven work experience as an HR Advisor or similar roleKnowledge of labour legislationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProblem-solving attitudeComputer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)Thorough knowledge of labor lawsExcellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projectsStrong phone, email and in-person communication skillsBS in Human Resources or relevant fieldSelf-starter mentality.
