THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence to help lead business analytics and develop data driven cultures within Zoomo. They will help lead the design and delivery of Zoomo’s ongoing analytics program.

The Head of Business Intelligence is a technically excellent analyst with proven abilities in designing and delivering analytics roadmaps / programs across a fast growing business. They have experience working with senior business stakeholders to define programs of work using leading analytics tools and programs. They are familiar with software and data architectural principles, are highly skilled in coding across a range of languages SQL, Python, R and have experience of software development methodologies. Most of all they embody a data driven and experimentation mindset, with the ability to communicate complex ideas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the strategic design, delivery and maintenance of the business intelligence program.
• Providing vision and leadership to ensure maturation of business intelligence within Zoomo.
• Collaboratively and extensively investigating, analysing and interpreting business information needs based on a strong understanding of business processes, drivers and priorities.
• Developing and implementing governance and post-implementation evaluation for all activities to ensure outcomes achieved meet Zoomo’s objectives.
• Identifying data quality issues and managing a program of remedy in line with database and development standards.
• Providing high level conceptual and technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practice.

Requirements

• Have 5+ years in business intelligence or a similar role.
• Proven experience developing and delivering a whole-of-business analytics roadmap
• Proven skills in coding SLQ, Python, R and software development methodologies
• Proven experience in data governance
• The proven experience leading a team and delivering projects independently.
• Experience or familiarity with agile methodologies
• To lead a team of junior analysts on multiple projects.
• Experience with leading analytics platforms and tools.
• Deep experience with Google Looker, Google BigQuery and Azure
