SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Channel Operations Associate to join our Channel Development team and support ongoing channel project operations. You will be responsible for organizing and tracking information, and coordinating with other Nexamp team members to bring our projects to construction and finally, to operation.  If you are a driven, and enthusiastic professional we want you to join our dynamic team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and maintain internal data management and communication protocols (including diligence trackers, closing checklists, etc.)
  • Work with Nexamp’s legal team to prepare for financial closings; organize and maintain all project documentation as needed
  • Prepare and coordinate execution of documentation for various project stakeholders to include lease agreement extensions, permitting documents as needed, contractor notifications, etc.
  • Coordinate with Nexamp’s Asset Management, Grid Integration, EPC and Accounts Payable teams to ensure post-closing contract documents and payments are executed and up to date
  • Work independently and as part of a team to develop and refine best practices for efficient transactions and post-closing oversight
  • Clearly communicate any commercial risks to Channel Development team and senior management, as appropriate
  • Participate in regular update meetings with Channel Development staff

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Commitment to Nexamp’s mission and a passion for solving tomorrow’s climate crisis today
  • Bachelor’s or relevant degree required
  • Two years of paralegal or project development experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
  • Comfortable learning quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to balancing competing priorities and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
