Job Description

Why We’re Rad (about us): Rad Power Bikes is a leading consumer direct ebike manufacturer specializing in high quality yet affordable electric bikes for weekend warriors, hardcore commuters, and family cyclists.
Madly growing and located in Ballard, we are seeking a full-time Mobile Ebike Support to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to support a dynamic team, this might be the role for you! 
Our Mobile Ebike Support will be responsible for ensuring our Mobile Ambassador teams are prepared to deliver built and accessorized bikes that have been ordered online or purchased from Retail.  If you are a person who has always liked to build things and thrive in an evolving work setting; can think on the fly while listening and clearly communicating via Slack, phone, or in person, you may be a good fit for our team. 

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or event planning 
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication
  • Experience in G-Suite or Microsoft products
  • Proven experience handling customer escalations

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to ascend / descend ladders
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours / day
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, leverage and carry 65+ pounds without assistance
  • Proficient manual dexterity required while using a variety of hand tools and other equipment

You get bonus points for:

  • Experience with electric bikes or vehicles 
  • Marketing tasks related to impromptu sales events
  • Previous startup experience
  • Experience with Samsara or other fleet management software
  • Experience using Shopify, Netsuite, and Zendesk
  • Comfortable driving large vehicles 

Had you been with us last month, you would have:

  • Worked closely with the Mobile Ambassadors to ensure the correct bikes were assembled, accessorized, and ready for delivery
  • Worked with the Rad Assembly team on prioritizing bikes that need to be built
  • Assisted with the selling of last year’s inventory and understood the available inventory in Seattle 
  • Worked with our Dev team to scope new Service Portal application for B&D
  • Assisted in delivering delight to over 300 customers in 1 month
  • Assisted with the processing of returned bikes
  • Helped coordinate emergency deliveries to employees or customers
  • Effectively communicated with various teams that bike orders and deliveries have been organized via Google Sheets, Slack, and Zendesk
  • Work closely with the Rad Master Scheduler to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Collected and organized the Built & Delivered orders and sourced the bikes from the Assembly team
  • Accessorized the bikes and then organized the built and accessorized bikes in our warehouse for easy identification by the driver’s delivering the bikes
  • Additional duties and overtime as required
