Job Description

We are looking for a smart-as-a-whip go-getter who is eager to take on the world. This position will wear many hats, particularly around social media, promotion, copywriting, and campaign development. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Track new trends in video and social media. Ensure that the company adapts our messaging when appropriate.
  • Manage all aspects of our social media strategy.
  • Manage all paid digital advertising.
  • Coordinate day to day activities of the marketing team. Manage deadlines.
  • Proofread and, based on abilities, write press releases, scripts, and customer stories.
  • Manage and contribute regularly to the SparkCharge Blog.
  • Assist in cross channel strategy development.
  • Work with Graphic Designer to take still and motion graphics and integrate them into videos.
  • Ensure that the SparkCharg brand is defended and represented properly.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate marketing goals clearly with all SparkCharge departments, including graphic design, public relations, and advertising, as well as with vendors, contractors, and freelancers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating at trade shows.
  • Substantial project management experience. Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
  • Excellent time-management skills. Ability to juggle numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to change gears quickly and move on to multiple projects.
  • Experience with a fast paced, action-oriented environment.
  • Strong computer skills for generating reports, viewing and analyzing marketing metrics, extracting data, and sharing assessments with other team members in project updates.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must. Experience with web page development or graphic design is very helpful. Required software expertise includes:
    • Google Suite
    • Microsoft Office
    • Slack
    • Asana or other work management programs
    • Adalo (a plus)
    • Adobe Creative Suite (a plus)
