Employment: Full Time Office/Work from Home (whilst current restrictions in place) 

Salary: £19778 plus up to 25% OTE of annual Salary

Here at SSE/OVO we have an exciting new opportunity to join our Outbound customer-facing team which is at the heart of our success and is paramount in providing our customers with the best possible experience. 

As an Outbound Sales Specialist, you’ll be working alongside new and existing colleagues to be part of a busy multi-channel contact centre helping retain and promote new and existing marketing leading products to our existing customers.  With our training and ongoing support, you’ll know everything there is to make sure you can offer a world class sales experience. 

What will I be doing?

  • Promoting a variety of new and existing products to our existing customers
  • Retaining and winning customers back 
  • Cross selling different product ranges across the business
  • Negotiating with our customers who are in arrears for repayment of balances and finding alternative resolutions.
  • Adhering to all regulatory policies to ensure our customers are treated fairly and the best possible outcomes are achieved at all times.
  • Demonstrating a pro-active, inquisitive and problem-solving nature to assist our customers in vulnerable and often complex situations.

Ideally you will have:

  • Telephone sales experience
  • A thorough understanding of all Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication and intrapersonal skills
  • Excellent follow-up and organisational skills
  • The ability to self-start and work independently 
  • Background in sales preferred
