The Brand Manager, Events at Indigo Ag is responsible for developing and executing a world class strategy that builds community within agriculture and its broader eco-system. You will have the chance to work cross-functionally to determine how events can help achieve business objectives, from hosting owned digital webinars to sponsoring major sustainability events and creating hyper personalized VIP activations. 

Responsibilities:

Understand Indigo’s brand and category, and how it is represented internally and externally

  • Support in creating a brand that is 'rooted for' through the development and execution of best-in-class experience
  • Deploy & execute a variety of experiential strategies to meet business objectives, including but not limited to:
    • Digital webinars
    • VIP activations
    • Sponsorships
    • Local Field Days
  • Take over management and development of Indigo branded swag, event kits, and collateral

Build and maintain global events calendar

  • Build and maintain a yearly event calendar of all opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally within the marketing and offering teams to determine the best opportunities for Indigo to be a part of

Creates event strategy and efficient process for executing activations

  • Connect with marketing and business leads to develop perspective on how events will play a role in meeting their objectives
  • Develop yearly event plans for each offer and stakeholder segment that will evolve with business in real-time, both proactively and reactively
  • Communicate and execute plans to ensure stakeholders input and alignment
  • Build event recaps to learn and iterate for future events

Be the GO-TO person for all event and conference related topics, opportunities and questions

  • Be the link between commercial, offer and marketing teams from an events standpoint, in order to establish consistency across all levels of events

Take on full ownership of the bi-annual Beneficial Ag event (next one in 2022) including planning, management and logistics

  • Manage and produce the Indigo event with 90% attendee satisfaction

  • Strong logistic, analytic and strategic thinker
  • High attention to detail, balanced with strong imagination and conceptual ability

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of working in event planning or experiential marketing
  • Experience developing & executing event plans for digital & in-person events
  • Proven record of producing and executing world class events
  • Experience working on global marketing programs and within a global marketing organization, preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with event sponsorship, preferred
