This role is a blend of customer success, product management, and operations. You’ll build the systems, content, integrity, and strategy behind our core certification, and deliver a service that companies value enough to make a lasting part of their sustainability programs. We’re a small, fast-moving team, and you’ll have the opportunity to design and rapidly implement program improvements as we seek to scale and create lasting positive impact in the world.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience building and delivering customer-focused products and/or services
  • Familiarity with corporate sustainability, climate, reporting, and carbon management
  • Experience managing and maintaining strong business client relationships
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to track details
  • Technical fluency in platforms such as Notion, Salesforce, and GSuite
  • Creative problem solving abilities
  • A track record of high level thinking and getting things done
  • Experience working for a startup

You should be passionate, excited about the potential for companies to lead on climate action, truly motivated by the potential to create positive change, and ready to:

  • Deliver an excellent certification experience to the companies that we work with
  • Guide our technology and operations strategy to increase our capacity to scale
  • Identify and build the right partnerships to support growth
  • Produce clear and concise content for our certifying companies, and find effective ways to present it
  • Lead internal process audits to track key certification metrics
  • Lead regular reviews of our certification process to keep it current with international standards
  • Solicit and evaluate user feedback, and incorporate it into program improvements
  • Manage the certification program business model, balancing costs with earned income and grants
  • Expand the certification program team to ensure adequate program capacity
  • Thrive in a startup environment with an all-virtual team

There are no specific location requirements, but you must be eligible to work in the United States.
