The Operations Associate has a direct impact on the success of Zoomo. This role requires a combination of savvy analytics, strategic thinking, strong execution and the interpersonal ability to work with teams from across the business. Zoomo is a rapidly growing startup and we are looking for a highly adaptable candidate who is able to switch between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and pivot into rapid, tactical actions the next. The problems you solve and the impact you have will shape how we operate in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Operations management:responsible for supporting daily management of operations - from making sure logistics across stores and cities go off without a hitch, to making sure new systems and processes are being implemented
  • Optimisation:operationalising Zoomo's product, pricing, operations strategy, and improvement initiatives
  • Acquisition and retention:coming up with and executing ways for us to acquire new customers and keep our existing customers satisfied
  • Analytics and reporting: make sure the Australian team has the data they need to make informed business decisions and be ready to crunch out some critical analysis that will determine whether we move forward with big business changes, such as a product launch
  • Team culture: you will be an integral part of building the culture of the Australian business, acting as a culture champion who lives and breathes Zoomo values. You will bring energy and excitement to everything you do!

Requirements

  • 1+ years of working experience within an analyst or operational role
  • Excited by data and uses analytical insights to make sound business recommendations
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
  • Experience in creating and optimising processes
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Self-starter and radiates positivity and possesses a “can-do” attitude
  • An entrepreneurial attitude. A laser focus on meeting targets and finding creative ways to meet them
  • Relevant industry (cycling, food delivery, mobility, technology) experience advantageous
  • Alignment with Zoomo's vision and purpose
