Responsibilities

  • You will join the Corporate Development Team, focusing on strategic & transformative finance operations (e.g. M&A, JVs), capital raising projects and business planning
  • You will work on group-level strategic topics and special projects to support infarm’s growth and help us scale our farming network around the globe.
  • In your day to day, you will work with the Corporate Development team across two dimensions:
  • Externally: interact with existing and prospect investors (e.g. pitching, presentations, due diligence), work on our funding and capital raise rounds as well as explore potential M&A opportunities for infarm
  • Internally: continue to improve the financial infrastructure at infarm and cross-collaborate with other teams on special projects (e.g. business modelling, strategic analysis)
  • Own and operate data sets, timelines, deliverables and relationships for strategic projects
  • Enable the executive team to make data-driven business decisions on the specific direction of Infarm’s global expansion  
  • Conduct due diligences and evaluate investments opportunities

Requirements

  • B. Sc. /M. Sc. in a business or quantitative field: Economics, Business, Math, from a top tier institution
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a business and/or financial role in industries such as Investment Banking,  Management  Consultancy,  Private Equity, Venture Capital or Start-up    
  • Advanced problem-solving skills: proven ability to independently devise inventive approaches to analyse potential scenarios and identify solutions to complex issues 
  • Strong analytical skills: the ability to draw relevant insights from a mixture of qualitative and quantitative data 
  • Ability to work efficiently with Excel (e.g. business models and quantitative analysis) as well as PowerPoint (e.g. create contents and presentations for investors) 
  • Strong written and oral communications skills in English
