Responsibilities:

At Infarm we grow a smart worldwide Infarm network that brings farming to the people a smart worldwide indoor farm network. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will contribute to that mission by working closely with multifunctional product teams to develop infrastructure and services to connect our wide range of data sources to our cloud storage and serve it to our stakeholders. Additionally, you will:

  • Contribute to securing, expanding and optimising our Cloud Infrastructure
  • Contribute to the expansion of our Data Lake and Data Warehouse
  • Design and implement storage solutions to preserve the integrity of our data.
  • Develop integration services for our stakeholders 
  • Design and implement data transformation solutions for stakeholders



Requirements:

  • Experience in SRE/DevOps - we use Terraform and Kubernetes. 
  • Proficient at Software Engineering with Python.
  • Experience with Airflow 
  • Experience designing, implementing and optimising data engineering solutions
  • Hands-on experience with software engineering best practices
  • Language skills: English full professional proficiency
