Our goal is to deliver the most effective and cutting-edge drive unit solutions to electric vehicle companies around the world.<hr>Duties and responsibilities:Responsible for delivering high quality embedded code, hands on hardware bring-up which might include motor controller, thermal controller, etc.Specifically, the job duties include:<ol><li>Implement the firmware on hardware with C code or through model-based design tool such Matlab/Simulink;</li><li>Design and specify the software architecture;</li><li>Specify, design, and implement tool for embedded subsystems;</li><li>Driver development, hardware testing debugging, and component/vehicle bring-up;</li><li>Design testing and calibration tool in the test bench;</li><li>Identify the root cause of component or vehicle issues and lead cross function team to deliver the solution</li><li>Optimize the embedded code for the product requirements.</li></ol><hr>Other Requirements:Master’s degree in Electrical &amp; Computer Engineering, EE or related plus at least 5 years of experience Experience with UDS and OTA development for EV applications is preferredExperience with model-based development for EV applications is preferred<hr>REQUIRED:Seasoned firmware engineer (staff or even higher level) with sufficient EV MCU firmware development and production experience who can potentially lead the firmware team<hr>Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and verification of employment authorization will be required at the time of hire.SF MOTORS, INC.
