Facilities Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Facilities Coordinator to provide operational support to the Head of Facilities. You will use technical and creative solutions to facilitate day-to-day operations and support the business. Additionally, you will assist in the administration of departmental programs and services, including but not limited to, maintenance, security, and facility financials. You will also help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local municipal laws and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for all scheduled and unscheduled facilities-related work 
• Administer physical access system (badge administration) & CCTV 
• Create and maintain facilities tracking and reporting systems (COIs, waivers, contracts, preventative maintenance schedules, etc.)
• Assist EH&S Manager with regular IIPP and Safety Inspections
• Develop facility maps with safety information
• Facilities-related purchase order management 
• Facilities and EH&S document management and organization
• Maintain training documentation and compliance calendars
• Participate as a member of the medical emergency response (EMR) team (third in line)

Required:

• 3+ years working in facilities support at a company with multiple properties and buildings
• Knowledge of relevant laws and OSHA regulations 
• Experience working with contractors and vendors
• Experience administering security management systems
• Working knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, fire management/suppression, structural, and utility back-up systems)
• Ability to utilize basic project management methods, primarily action planning and tracking, and reporting tools
• Ability to work nights and weekends if/when needed and be available on-call as needed
• Ability to be objective and communicate appropriately in all situations
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, multi-task, prioritize, and work under tight timeframes
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to lift at least 35 pounds
