The Opportunity: Omnidian is raising the bar on the system owner experience within the commercial solar industry through proactive system monitoring, comprehensive maintenance plans, and performance assurance products.  We are unlocking a new sales and post-installation operations strategy for Commercial Installers and developers through a plug-and-play service partnership that includes 24/7 professional proactive monitoring, proactive service alerts, an operations center with live US-based customer support, real-time system diagnostics, and a national network of field service providers.

The RoleAs a Director of Commercial Channel Sales you will drive revenue growth by successfully establishing B2B reseller and fleet operations channel relationships across all U.S. metropolitan markets with C&I solar installations. Omnidian’s Commercial Program is available in all viable commercial solar markets.  Reporting to the Vice President of the Commercial Channel Sales, and bolstered with the support of an all-start team of solar, technology, and service industry leaders, you will help shape Omnidian’s vision and contribute to a product, program, and partnership strategy for a company that has been called a category creator and thought leader within the solar service space.

Your Contributions

  • Drive aggressive revenue growth through new Commercial Channel Partnerships and quota-driven sales achievement
  • Rapidly identify best regional market segments, partner prospect demographics, and tailor sales strategies to secure Channel Partner Agreements and service plan adoption
  • Utilize best practices and cross team collaboration to strategize innovative ways to reach new clients and more successfully prioritize prospects
  • Develop close, collaborative working relationships with channel marketing, product management, and senior leadership team
  • Spearhead channel management process and dealer grown and retention strategies

  • Proven B2B Channel Account Management experience desired and highly valuable
  • A proven track record of exceeding quotas and performance metrics
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple accounts with a systematic, repeatable, process-driven approach
  • High attention to detail in tracking sales-cycle activities within CRM or business intelligence system(s)
  • Familiarity with Commercial Solar EPC and development process and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Solar Asset Management industry a PLUS
  • Your prior managers WILL confirm that you are a “farmer” not a “hunter” – in other words, demonstrated experience in consultative, relationship-based selling
  • Demonstrated experience segmenting B2B prospects and developing sales strategies appropriate for each segment
  • Creative problem-solving skills for addressing partner and client friction points within a fast-evolving sales environment
  • Ability to listen to partner and market segment needs and effectively communicate back to channel marketing and product teams for focus on solution delivery
  • Experience with new product introductions and sell-through training – we are continually evolving our services to meet our partners’ and clients’ needs
  • Your written and verbal communication is clear, concise and articulate
  • You represent the highest possible ethical standards, communicate opportunities and challenges quickly with recommendations for moving forward, and are viewed as a team player.
