Job PurposeThis role is critical in maintaining Jupiter’s industry leadership by further improving its competitiveness in the marketplace. The CRI contributes to the development of Jupiter’s sales and marketing competitive strategies and product development efforts by using first-hand knowledge and available secondary research sources to drive the way Jupiter markets and innovates with its products to differentiate itself among the climate risk analytics market. Additionally, this role is responsible for the development and execution of our regulatory strategy worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with Sales Leadership and Product Marketing teams to develop playbooks that support business development and help close deals
  • Use understanding of product capability and the competitive landscape to advise product and go-to-market leadership on appropriate strategies
  • Brief product teams on competitor technologies and marketing/PR teams about competitive messaging and positioning issues
  • Content is king. Develop up-to-date tools (battle cards, product analyses, competitive responses, internal and external presentations, etc.), with a view toward improving sales effectiveness
  • Responsible for the definition and execution of our regulatory response to global compliance initiatives - PRA, SASB, TCFD, CDSB, CDP etc.
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and trends through reading reports, market research, data manipulation and financial modeling and analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-8 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in query languages such as SQL 
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Requirements

  • Passion to be an expert on the product and for being part of a fast growing company
  • Familiarity with climate modeling and climate-related analyses from transition costs to transition opportunities, is a plus
  • Working knowledge of climate and/or catastrophe modeling
  • TCFD modeling experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Able to work with multiple departments and collaborate as needed
  • Effective written / verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Ability to influence different audiences
  • Demonstrates initiative and willingness to take risks
  • Possesses personal leadership skills
