Job Purpose
Jupiter is actively engaged with customers who understand that climate change is putting their core businesses at risk. Asset owners, planners, developers, investors, and government agencies are increasingly recognizing the need to incorporate climate impact data into risk modeling for specific assets.  As a Jupiter Intelligence Enterprise Account Executive, you will focus on enterprise business accounts across various sectors including insurance and banking. You have a proven track record of exceeding quota in technology sales, and are a motivated, resourceful, tenacious self-starter who is skilled at selling into and cultivating deep relationships with C-level executives. You thrive on being an integral member of a high-performance team that values candor, creativity, and delighting customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline and manage complex sales cycles (prospect, qualify, negotiate, close) for C-level executives primarily in insurance and banking sectors
  • Apply sales best practices to develop and close six-figure pilot projects and seven-figure enterprise SaaS deals
  • Lead discovery meetings with prospects and present Jupiter pitch with tailored value proposition 
  • Evangelize Jupiter’s vision through product demonstrations, events, and account initiatives
  • Achieve quarterly and annual quotas, and forecast sales activity accurately within CRM
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sale
  • Deliver outstanding results through cross team collaboration with Marketing and Product Management
  • Develop add-on business within existing accounts
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention

  • Travel requirements : up to 50% of time

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in enterprise software business development, preferably advanced analytics SaaS products
  • Experience with large scale enterprise deployments
  • Proven ability to effectively sell to C-level executives
  • Ability to succeed – independently and as part of a team – in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment
  • Track record of leveraging relationships – ideally in insurance and financial services - in accounts to drive sales
  • Demonstrated passion to understand details of technically complex solutions, while comfortable with ambiguity
  • MBA or equivalent preferred

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical preferred)
  • Strong computer skills including Google Apps, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • CRM (Copper/Prosperworks a plus)
  • Superior professional presence and business acumen
