SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing Construction team!  The ideal candidate will be hyper-organized, creative, proactive, goal-oriented, and efficient. We are looking for someone who is constantly three steps ahead of the crowd and will operate with a sense of urgency and excitement in achieving their goals. This role will give the candidate an holistic exposure to different areas of Nexamp and the solar industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage: you are responsible for managing and balancing the administrative tasks associated with a pipeline of solar construction projects from inception through closeout:

  • Contract Administration - compile and review project agreements, and then drive the process through final execution

Develop: we are an agile, but growing team.  You’ll play a key role in developing and improving efficient processes so we can maintain our agility.

Organize: our teams in the field are constantly on the move, and your ability to organize our administrative workload and communicate effectively is key to our success!

  • Communicate daily with project managers, contractors, designers, and the leadership team to manage expectations and adjust priorities
  • Manage the process of onboarding new contractors and keeping insurance related information up-to-date
  • File and store data so that it can be retrieved quickly and efficiently when you need it
  • Track and follow up on outstanding items which may include RFIs, change orders, submittals, missing contract items, updated schedules, etc.
  • Coordinate meetings and take accurate minutes
  • Organize events for the team and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Serve as go-to person for various tasks such as training enrollment, supply ordering, new hire construction orientation, team building and vendor communication
  • Support the EPC Team with the implementation and operation of our Project Management platform, Procore.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience or working knowledge of construction industry preferred
  • A strong background in office organization (organized, organized, organized!! And you love it!)
  • Proven track record in project administration
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A genuine interest in the world of Renewable Energy construction. Maybe you have no prior corporate experience with it, but the well-being of our planet is a priority of yours, and being on Team Solar excites you 
  • Experience or working knowledge of a Project Management Software (e.g. Procore) is preferred
  • Experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus
