About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Test Engineer to help us make the best possible micro mobility vehicles. You will be responsible for developing and executing QA tests of hardware/firmware of new vehicles. Our vehicles are very well used, you will need to figure out how to design and test these new micro-mobility vehicles the same way they get tested on the streets and then work with other engineers to make them bulletproof. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product development engineers, embedded engineers, system engineers, reliability engineers, and other QA to understand the system performance and quality requirements at different development phases
  • Develop and document QA test plans, test systems and procedures to identify and tackle potential hardware/ firmware issues of the micro-mobility vehicles
  • Conduct subsystem and system-level test, verification and validation test in the lab and debug hardware/firmware related issues
  • Automate system testing in Python scripts to enhance debugging capabilities and improve test effectiveness and efficiency
  • Build project plan and timeline for QA test development, and assess project risks and gaps
  • Analyze test failures and perform the root cause analysis by analyzing logs and debugging test failures with the multi-functional teams
  • Perform statistical data analysis and produce comprehensive test reports for the stakeholders
  • Communicate efficiently QA test results with the potential corrective actions to the multi-functional teams

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware/ firmware or software quality assurance with consumer electronics or electro-mechanical devices
  • Experience with firmware testing and hardware testing, or manufacturing testing
  • Proficient skills with standard EE lab test and measurement tools including high-speed scopes, function generators, spectrum, and network analyzers
  • Experience with signal integrity measurement techniques and characterization of board level interfaces
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in automation and scripting skills using Python
  • Excellent knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and tools
