We are looking for a motivated part-time Community Outreach Coordinator to join the team in support of several projects ongoing in the New Orleans area. In particular, the Community Outreach Coordinator will support the ISeeChange team across several initiatives focused on local climate impacts in New Orleans—including heat and health impacts, floodwater mitigation, and urban tree-planting. This work will be interdisciplinary in nature, involving field survey work, event coordination, communications, and working directly with community members across several New Orleans neighborhoods. The Community Outreach Coordinator will also collaborate with local non-profit, municipal, and engineering partners to further project needs. The position will be contracted monthly up to 25 hours a month paid at $20/hour, and is compatible with a flexible work schedule.
