Sustainability Content Intern/Volunteer

Crowdsourcing Sustainability is a start-up nonprofit that has 150,000+ people from 150+ countries reading our sustainability newsletters. Our global team is made up of 2 amazing interns and myself right now. Hoping there will be 5 of us soon :) 

I write about 3 newsletters every month.

We need someone to upload these newsletters to the Crowdsourcing Sustainability website, Medium.com, and LinkedIn (where the 150,000 people are subscribed) so more people can see them, learn, connect, and act on climate! 

Anyone who puts their mind to it can do this. There's a quick learning curve and it just takes a little attention to detail and an eye for choosing great cover photos!

Once you get the hang of it, there's also another project I have in mind to automate certain things which would be enormously helpful and help get this information and inspiration out to more people. 

This of course could turn into more responsibilities if things go well and you see new projects you like - content-related or otherwise - no shortage of work to be done! 

The north star of Crowdsourcing Sustainability is really asking the questions: "How can we help to reverse global heating as quickly and equitably as possible? How can we better inspire/empower/connect people to level up their impact? How can we grow the community?" So if you have any ideas for improvements or projects to that end, I'll be all ears.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about tackling the climate crisis, have a desire to learn and grow, is ready to roll up their sleeves, and is a genuine, good person. Strong communication skills and someone who's looking for a start-up atmosphere to learn and do a lot are a plus.

To be up-front, this is not a paid position. I wish I could pay you! But we're a new non-profit and I haven't even paid myself yet (getting closer every day though!)
