Roles & Responsibility

  • Coordinating the quality communication between Bird NPI and APAC suppliers, including but not limited to test plan alignment, advance measurement alignment, quality control planning etc.
  • Review test and quality records in product development and mass production
  • Perform test validation at supplier and or sub-tier supplier side during NPI and or ECN process.
  • Supplier quality system qualification in supplier sourcing
  • Conduct regular process spot auditing, monitor and  maintain stability of process and quality
  • Issue escalation, reporting and driving closure in a close loop
  • Failure analysis and resolvement of major non-conformity in process 
  • Production line/jig/fixture qualification 
  • Maintain effectiveness of metrology application 
  • Validate and ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable standards
  • Create, review and maintain SIP to ensure that component and finish product’s quality meet in standard and or print
  • Develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks.
  • Utilize standard statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to define product acceptance and evaluate process capabilities.
  • Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies such as 8D in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
  • 5+ years related working experience in the QE-field or comparable work experience
  • Ability to work independently and deal with complex issues and multiple tasks
  • Basic knowledge of Quality management system such as ISO9000:2000/IATF16949 
  • Quality tools utilization such as Fish bone /5w1H/brainstorming/FMEA/SPC/MSA/PPAP/Minitab utilization
  • Deep and practical knowledge about manufacturing process related to  mechanical or electrical parts 
  • Able to read 3D/2D CAD and familiar with GD&T
  • English proficiency with both verbal and written
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently
