About the Role:

The Inventory Supervisor is a warehouse position maintaining organization and monitoring the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops. Ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in an effective and efficient manner
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move product to and from desired areas
  • Perform daily routines established by the Warehouse and Inventory Manager
  • Maintains an equipment structure and level to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in a safe, effective manner...
  • Provides appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials 
  • Researches material handling equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment in terms of performance, safety, reliability, and cost
  • Monitor the unloading of all materials into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received
  • Perform the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner
  • Supply product to pack and prep areas and stages product for pack and prep Ensures products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures Maintain the rotation of inventories within the warehouse, and maintaining accurate inventory
  • Follow established SOPs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments to support other operations This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Supervisor experience preferred 2 years of relevant experience
  • QC experience
  • Experience in a variety of office systems (G-Suite, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Forklift Certification and experience preferred
  • General knowledge of warehouse practice

Details of Position:

  • Full-Time exempt position reporting to the Warehouse and Inventory Manager
  • Position based out of our local warehouse

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment 
  • Able to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel
  • Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens

How we are protecting employees from COVID-19

At Imperfect Foods, employee health and safety is our top priority. We have implemented processes and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our facilities. We provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to all essential employees who must report to work. Before entering our warehouse, employees have their temperatures checked. In addition, we take great care to ensure frequently touched surfaces are sanitized throughout the day and all warehouses are fully sanitized weekly.

We have also implemented an Emergency Sick Leave policy providing full-time and part-time employees 2 additional weeks of paid time off and up to 26 weeks paid leave if they have a confirmed case of COVID-19.
