About the Role
Electric Vehicle charging stations are the next evolution in the electrical grid having the potential to further integrate renewables. They transfer MWhs of energy from the grid to the EV and vice versa every day all year round. As the operating system provider for charging stations, EcoG continues to build up not only its expertise in the software space, but also in mastering the complexity of the electrical system. You鈥檒l be the leading expert in charging systems, electrical installations and grid integrations. You鈥檒l be responsible for expanding the electrical infrastructure at EcoG labs, as well as designing and implementing new charger architectures with our partners in a global market. About You

- Educational background / Practical experience in Electrical Engineering
- Certified Elecktrofachkraft in Germany
- Experience in working with complex electrical systems
- Knowledge in Electrical Safety standards and requirements such as VDE 0100-100,VDE 0105-100; charging system related standards such as IEC 61851-1, IEC 61851-23 is a plus
- Experience in EV charging system, high voltage battery system is a plus
- Knowledge in electrical grid in other countries/continents is a plus
- Fluency in English and German
- Design, implement and test charging systems
- Work with partners in their electrical system design, development, debugging, deployment, and operation
- Take care of test site electrical installation integrity and expansion
- Train colleagues and supervise students
- Explore electrical system standards and requirements in e-Mobility related domains for EcoG target market regions
