Due to strong demand in the renewable energy sector in the USA we are looking for engineers who enjoy working with data to support complex analysis projects in the USA market and globally.
About you:
<ul>
<li>Right to work in the USA</li>
<li>Min. 2 years industrial experience in manufacturing, industrial asset management, reliability, renewable energy, or a related field</li>
<li>B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, or a proven track record working on analytics within the industrial sector</li>
<li>Strong experience working with time series data, ideally in Python</li>
<li>Proficient with the Python programming language</li>
<li>Knowledge of rotating machinery dynamics or a strong willingness to learn</li>
<li>Experience with engineering mathematics, statistics, and reliability concepts </li>
<li>Strong communication skills – ability to develop and deliver presentations &amp; condition monitoring reports, liaise effectively with customers, and contribute to internal project meetings</li>
<li>Able to work without close supervision in a flexible environment</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in our international offices</li>
</ul>
Daily Activities:
<ul>
<li>Analyse vibration, SCADA, and other types of machine data to support consulting projects</li>
<li>Own the analysis portion of monitoring projects run by the engineering group </li>
<li>Deliver data analysis reports to internal and external customers</li>
<li>Work to standardize analysis methods and reporting so results can be delivered to customers in an efficient manner</li>
</ul>
Knowledge of one or more of the additional areas would be an advantage:
<ul>
<li>Engineering or operations experience with rotating machinery </li>
<li>Condition monitoring, data mining or machine learning</li>
<li>AWS tools such as S3, WorkSpaces, EC2, etc.</li>
<li>Vibration or structural analysis</li>
<li>Signal processing, feature extraction, regression analysis</li>
<li>Machine testing, measurement and data processing</li>
<li>Understanding databases, e.g. PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Parquet</li>
<li>Scripting, e.g. Batch, Cron, Quartz</li>
<li>Bash shell experience in CentOS, Fedora, or similar</li>
</ul>
