The team is responsible for electronics and control systems test and validation of diagnostics. The role provides good overview of the vehicle and will consist in system-to-system communication and reaction to fault insertion. The role is based in Warwickshire.What you will do:<ul><li>Responsible for a set of subsystem/function testing and validation. This involves the following:<ul></ul></li><li>Review requirements and develop testing scenarios.</li><li>Implementation of the test scenarios in relevant Test assets (MIL, HIL, Vehicle).</li><li>Creation of Automated tests using (Vector VTest, dSPACE Automation Desk).</li><li>Run manual and automated testing (component and system).</li><li>Provide continuous feedback in the team.</li><li>Author clear and concise test reports report.</li></ul>What we are looking for:Required:<ul><li> Critical thinking and understanding of system engineering and vehicle integration.</li><li> Team player with willingness to share knowledge and learn from others.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostics architecture and relevant standards (J1979, ISO 13400, ISO 14229) </li><li>Solid understanding of CAN, LIN and Ethernet communication protocols.</li><li>Experienced with CANalyser/CANoe/VTESTtudio toolset.</li><li>Ability to understand complex embedded systems.</li><li>3+ years relevant experience (EV vehicles preferably)</li></ul>Nice to have:<ul></ul><ul><li>DIY attitude (preferably in software and electronics).</li><li>First principles understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and embedded systems.</li><li>Powertrain Controls and Calibration experience.</li><li> Experience with diagnostic software implementation.</li><li>Proficient with Matlab/Simulink (scripting and control strategy development).</li><li>Familiar with dSPACE/Vector HIL systems.</li><li>Experience in version control tools (GIT, SVN).</li><li>Familiar with SAE J1939 standard.</li></ul>What working here will be like:<ul><li> We are a small, fast-growing team so you will have a high degree of ownership and accountability, and you will be directly exposed to all areas of the business.</li><li>We are a start-up, so don't have a lot of structures and processes.
