The Field Manager will be responsible for most, if not all, post-installation responsibilities and service work as it relates to performance and system uptime with the support of associated engineering and deployment teams.</span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage Service Technicians/Electricians, set schedules and priorities to aid in the troubleshooting and repair of equipment within assigned region.</li><li>Be ready to travel for extended periods of time covering multiple locations in respective region with minimal notice.</li><li>Be ready to receive field service calls during and after work hours and coordinate response with field service engineers.</li><li>Maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the service organization; prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, and future timelines.</li><li>Exercise discretion and independent judgment while overseeing the field service work and their successful completion of work orders as they relate to troubleshooting down or underperforming systems.</li><li>Evaluate the work of technicians and electricians to provide both quarterly and yearly performance reviews.</li><li>Provide necessary “On-boarding” and training resources to Field Service Technicians.</li><li>Responsible for the day-to-day operation. Including acting on actual events, arrange resources and monitor the progress.</li><li>Control overall regional spend and when needed propose cost effective solutions.</li><li>Responsible, together with other service managers, for the creation, delivery, efficiency, and productivity of the Operation &amp; Maintenance program in the field, both directly and with key partners.</li></ul><h3>What You’ll Bring</h3><ul><li>Commercial or Utility Scale Energy Storage experience is required.</li><li>Will have 5+ years of experience working within maintenance and operations.</li><li>Previous electrical trades experience with troubleshooting power electronics and low voltage controls.</li><li>Previous experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, and ability to navigate several computer applications and technology independently.</li><li>Experience working as a manager</li><li>Ability to manage voluminous amounts of data</li><li>Experiencing writing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports.</li><li>2+ years’ experience in creating Scopes of Work for maintenance or electrical services.</li><li>Recent training and current certification as required in OSHA / NFPA 70E / Safety experience with PV systems preferred</li><li>Excellent computer skills especially using Excel, Outlook, and Word</li><li>Strong Case Management skills and familiarity with ticketing systems such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal skills both from a technical and client facing perspective</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment</li></ul><br><div>#LI-remote #LI-CG1</div><div><br></div><div>At Energy Vault we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants. Energy Vault SA offers an energy storage technology utilizing fundamental principles of science to deliver a storage solution that's as compassionate to the planet as it is efficient to build and operate. The Energy Vault solution utilizes the same fundamentals of physics and kinetic energy as pumped hydro but replaces the water with custom made cylindrical blocks utilizing an extremely innovative use of low-cost materials. The system is modular and can be designed with a capacity of between 10 and 35MWh and a power output of up to 5MW.
