SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Technical Product Manager for our Product & Technology team.  Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Technologies, you will partner with stakeholders in Finance to drive out requirements to enable efficiencies in how they work and then implement those changes to capture value. This role will be responsible for not only the overall strategy for what tools are used in Finance and the processes around them, but also the implementation/configuration of the tools as well as the integration between Finance and other systems across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the toolset for a given function in the organization (e.g., NetSuite and related tools within Finance and Supply Chain) 
  • Recruit, hire, mentor and coach junior administrators 
  • Understand and explain complex, ambiguous concepts and problems clearly and concisely   
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to flesh out and map out current processes and identify pain points through continued discovery  
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate decisions and trade-offs  
  • Prioritize requests and features against strategic goals and potential value to the business  
  • Define success metrics and drive accountability to achieve them  
  • Deeply understands the technical aspects of the enterprise tools for Finance 
  • Break down large projects into manageable pieces that can deliver value incrementally  

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented, and a team player.

Key qualifications as follows:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Finance applications 
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite 
  • Experience in mapping complex processes 
  • Ability to manage complex projects with numerous stakeholders  
  • Ability to manage external consulting teams 
  • Preference for strength in core finance business processes including A/R, A/P, Consolidation, Asset Management and Cash Management 
  • Prior consulting experience desired

  • Driven to create efficiency in processes 
  • Able to simplify and communicate abstract or complex problems 
  • Able to make decisions that balance business need, technical complexity and time to market without resorting to the lowest common denominator
