Packaging Coordinator

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Packaging Coordinator to join our rapidly growing supply chain team. The role will be based in Austria and can be remote but with frequent travel to our manufacturing partners facility in Steyr.

What you will do:

Reporting into Packaging Engineering Manager, as a Packaging Coordinator you will be responsible for the operational management and control packaging contracts in both projects and production phases. You will fully support our contract manufacturer in Steyr and all aspects of daily packaging management.

• Support all aspects of operational packaging management in every area of the business, internally & externally
• Build relationships with and manage contracts with nominated rental companies
• Apply strict control methods & tracking of packaging in daily operations
• Apply KPI’s and regularly report out status
• Complete root cause analysis and manage packaging concerns in daily operations
• Investigate and countermeasure any packaging related non compliance and part quality concerns – working closely with Packaging Engineering
• Organise paperwork & transport for exceptional movement of packaging when required
• Support Packaging Engineering D&D activities and apply continuous improvement approach

We would like you to have:

• Experience within Packaging Operations and or Packaging Engineering in a Logistics or Supply Chain function

• Strong analytic skills and ability to work with data to perform inventory analysis such as organising stock count or analysing the results
• Must have a practical and proactive hands on approach to all aspects the role
• Strong communication skills, with ability to regularly report to key stakeholders
• Previous experience within SAP or similar systems
