As we rapidly grow, you will help create and improve product documentation and build scalable processes, technology, and products.</div><br><br><h3>What you will do</h3><ul><li>Manage the productization of our designs and prototypes into viable cost competitive products for larger scale production.</li><li>Lead design improvements and validation of mechanical designs for the gravity product line, manage the mechanical engineering team to achieve design release milestones and cost targets.</li><li>Responsible for providing technical support to the projects and outside vendors, disposition of non-conformities, deviations and corrective action.</li><li>Provide technical support to the cost controller to allow the generation of estimates at project commencement and for any potential scope changes related to mechanical engineering items.</li><li>Ensure that the technical team and any 3rd party technical contractors adhere to the overall project quality plan. Provide technical direction to supply chain for the negotiation of the purchase of any goods and services required for the delivery of a project.</li><li>Develop necessary tools and processes to drive continuous improvement in Energy Vault’s products.</li></ul><h3>What a qualified candidate should possess</h3><ul><li>8+ years of engineering experience with industrial products. Energy Vault SA offers an energy storage technology utilizing fundamental principles of science to deliver a storage solution that's as compassionate to the planet as it is efficient to build and operate. The Energy Vault solution utilizes the same fundamentals of physics and kinetic energy as pumped hydro but replaces the water with custom made cylindrical blocks utilizing an extremely innovative use of low-cost materials. The system is modular and can be designed with a capacity of between 10 and 35MWh and a power output of up to 5MW. The system has been designed for a 30+ year life with no degradation in storage capacity.
