Job Description

We’re seeking an individual motivated by our mission with a deep understanding of the energy space. A self-starter and analytical individual to join our Product Partnerships team to help develop, support, and grow our partner ecosystem. If you enjoy engaging with various partners and thinking about new growth opportunities through new partnerships and integrations, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities will range from research, analysis, and proposals to bringing new partners onto Voltus’s DER platform and managing partner relationships and success. You’ll work with the most innovative companies in energy tech, including market leaders in home-energy management, EV charging, energy storage, smart buildings, and transport.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct data-driven analysis to support partner business models and product development strategies
  • Perform market intelligence and competitive landscape analysis Initiate and manage leads and early stage partner discussions to qualify opportunities and build relationships
  • Engage with potential partners and customers to build relationships and identify collaboration and product partnership opportunities 
  • Build business deal valuation models for analysis, definition, prioritization, and pipeline management
  • Run new initiative sizing, scope definition, effort forecasting, and program management
  • Collaborate with markets and product teams to identify and define user/customer needs, business and product requirements, and feature definition  
  • Work with operations and Customer success team to help partners integrate with our platform and assure end-customers for market participation
  • Manage existing partner accounts and relationships to assure successful completion and delivery
  • Collaborate with marketing team in creating and managing outreach, engagement programs, as well as defining co-marketing opportunities

Qualifications: 

  • Strong analytical skills including a deep understanding of data analytics 
  • Experience with business model development and P&L management
  • Product development and management experience
  • Program/project management and cross-functional collaboration/leadership
  • Experience navigating partnerships through complex negotiations and contract structuring
  • Enjoy engaging with partners and customers, including presenting and visualizing data and explaining analyses
  • Think strategically and see the bigger picture but can easily dive into the details and love to problem solve

Bonus experience:

  • Understanding of IoT (Internet of Things) technologies
  • Knowledge of the electric grid systems, markets, and technologies
  • Experience in EVs and infrastructure, energy storage, demand response and energy efficiency
