SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Regional Lead, Quality to direct, review, and manage daily operations of our growing construction team. This individual is an experienced, licensed electrical professional who will oversee quality assurance during construction of Nexamp’s growing portfolio of PV infrastructure. This role reports into the Regional Director, Construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for project quality assurance audits, site inspections, regular site meetings with EPC partners, scheduling field service activities, managing the quality teams and field service teams
  • Perform Electrical Testing, troubleshooting, component repair and replacement duties
  • Manage quality on multiple project sites within the specific geographical region
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%, Day and Overnight
  • Interact with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) over our sites
  • Coordinate with the Regional Construction Director to do this job effectively

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years of electrical experience or equivalent required; internship experience and education will be considered
  • In-depth knowledge of PV and Energy Storage
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications plans
  • Understanding Nexamp quality control methods and procedures
  • Highly developed electrical and PV related troubleshooting skills and expertise
  • Strong administrative skills including the use of computers, Microsoft Office, data acquisition systems, SCADA, communications, and remote computing
  • Extensive experience in commissioning PV systems and storage is a plus
  • Procore experience is a plus
  • Understanding of medium voltage systems and equipment a plus
  • Eye for detail and ability to communicate clearly
  • Possesses prominent level of understanding and technical expertise in all means and methods relating to PV installation commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Fully understands principles of the application, design, installation, and safe operation of grid-tied, utility scale PV and ancillary electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications plans
  • Understanding of quality control methods and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of Ethernet, cellular, fiber communications (DAS & SCADA)
  • Valid and current electrical license in area of operation
