Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Drivetrain

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop e-drive and drivetrain prototyping and manufacturing technologies including material, the process of machining, heat-treating, electrical insulation, and assembly.
• Implement mechanical, electrical, and thermal design, analysis, assembling, testing.
• Conduct the design of experiments for product design validation and durability testing.
• Lead benchmarking study of cutting-edge technologies.
• Lead the problem-solving in prototyping, assembling, and testing.
• Proficient in assembling and testing procedures with analytical and physical assessments.
• Experience with the component and assembly of 3-D CAD models, and 2-D manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-team engineers and technicians.
• Minimum 25% business travel time required.

 Required Education and Experience

• M.S. degree with 3+ years or B.S.  degree with 5+ years of working experience in relevant industry
• Proficiency in CAD modeling
• Great team player
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
