OVERVIEW
We are seeking a self-motivated Junior Linux Administrator to join our growing IT department and help us build and expand our Linux footprint and High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the majority of regularly scheduled operational maintenance of the clusters, as assigned by the HPC Systems Manager and Senior HPC Architect. MISSION
To ensure Terramera’s Linux infrastructure is secure, up-to-date, and scalable across the company, while contributing to the sustainability of the overall IT/HPC strategy.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reporting to the HPC Systems Manager, the Jr. Linux System Administrator collaborates closely with all members of the team on reoccurring weekly maintenance, one-off requests, and project planning, implementation and testing. This is not a 100% remote position, as onsite presence is required in our data center and R&D facilities. Additionally, the Jr. Linux System Administrator will work with members of the IT, Machine Learning and Software business units to complete critical tasks and projects.
