The Role

Procurement at Zoomo is one of the most pivotal function enabling the company’s ambitious target. In today’s very disrupted and fast-moving world, finding the right vendors and setting up the right partnerships is paramount to keep Zoomo on its hypergrowth trajectory. Our procurement function is not only outward facing, but also deeply embedded in many departments from which requirements and needs are collected assuring Zoomo’s high quality standards, ambitious cost target and breakneck deployment speed are always met.

We are looking for a young procurement professional ready to take the next step and build a global procurement function from scratch, futureproofing Zoomo’s sourcing of goods and services by finding the right suppliers not only providing best in class product and support but able to support Zoomo’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and run an efficient and quick turnaround time RFx process for bikes, mopeds, accessories, IoT and other services able to scale with the company.
  • Lead cross-functional scoping activity for tendering with Zoomo hardware product team, operations, finance, supply chain, legal,...
  • Assess, select and sign best in class suppliers around the globe able to meet Zoomo quality standards
  • Negotiate superior terms enabling Zoomo’s high paced asset deployment strategy.
  • Create and manage a vendor performance program allowing Zoomo to improve vendor delivery
  • Own Zoomo pricing and terms roadmap.
  • Embody Zoomo’s mission & values


  • 2-4+ years of working experience in a procurement, buyer, category, or sourcing position in companies buying/selling manufactured goods internationally.
  • Sound knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities, and contract law.
  • Track record of successful negotiation of multi-million dollars contract
  • Experience with scoping, running, closing tendering process efficiently
  • Superior communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in influencing and guiding cross functional teams for procurement projects at all levels
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks at once and take initiative in a constantly changing work environment.
  • Experience in electronic, automotive, or micro-mobility industry highly regarded
  • Experience in a scale-up company highly regarded
  • Speak Mandarin or one European language highly regarded.
