Roles & Responsibilities
Design a body support structure and body panels for a unique, electric RV
Take a body design concept from renders, to a detailed design, to reality
Collaborate with aerodynamics engineering to ensure detailed design remains low-drag
Experiment with various material layup and joining techniques, optimizing across a range of criteria to deliver an engineered result
Develop and run FEA simulations to confirm structural integrity under various load cases
Fabricate prototype parts (machining, 3-D printing, welding) in-house
Perform tolerance stack-up / GD&T analyses where necessary
Select and work closely with suppliers to manage part quality and delivery timing
Develop and perform component and system level testing
Aid technicians in the assembly of your subsystems
