Mechanical Engineer — Mechanisms & Closures

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design powered and passive mechanisms for a prototype electric RV, including a novel electric lift system to enable groundbreaking aerodynamic performance

• Fabricate prototype parts (machining, 3-D printing) in-house

• Perform tolerance stack-up and GD&T analyses where necessary

• Develop and run appropriate validation test benches on early prototypes

• Work closely with suppliers to manage part quality and delivery timing

• Develop and perform component and system level testing

• Aid in the assembly of your subsystems

Prior Experience & Professional Qualities

• BSME engineering or similar

• Experience working on mechatronic / robotic systems

• Experience with weatherproof seal design

• 5+ years of mechanical design engineering (multidisciplinary skills preferred)

• Skilled modeler using 3-D CAD tools such as CATIA, Solidworks, Fusion 360, or OnShape

• Collaborative mindset, dedication to excellence and completeness, clear communication style
