Intern (paid), Asset Management

Location: US-based remote

Duration: Through August, 2023 with the possibility of extension or transition to full-time role

We’re seeking an Intern to join us in advancing this work and enhancing our culture.

Your scope of work:

  • Financial processing support, including transcribing project expenses, drafting memos, managing invoices, and accurate financial record keeping
  • Project-based file organization based on SOP/ company structure
  • Data management and upkeep related to various climate action projects
  • Collection, organization, and consolidation of data from multiple sources into digestible formats for a variety of audiences
  • Analysis of project data to support performance reporting and provision of actionable insights for improvements 
  • Project verification and credit delivery support, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization
  • Assist ad hoc internal/external requests in support of project monitoring activities 

Your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in-progress) or equivalent experience in environmental science, or related field with two years of practical experience.
  • Accurate management of detailed information from diverse sources
  • Experience in compiling, integrating, and analyzing data
  • Best practices in documentation for quality assurance and reproducibility 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Proficient in the use of the Google Suite, especially Google Docs
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and familiarity working with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify projects
  • Experience working in Salesforce

Bonus:

  • Experience within carbon offsets, conservation, grasslands restoration, reforestation, regenerative agriculture, or renewable energy sector

What’s Native’s approach to remote work?

Native is a remote-first company, with most roles, including this one, able to be fully remote within the United States. Some roles need to be in-person at Native’s Burlington, VT office and will be designated as such when that’s the case. 

What are Native’s return-to-office plans?

Native has an office space in Burlington, VT that is available to employees. Native will not be requiring employees to report to work in person, unless their specific role requires it and is designated as such. When possible, Native’s full team comes together in-person twice per year.
