Job Description
As an early team member of a tiny, growing startup with big ambitions, you will have a unique opportunity to help build a new category, not just a company. Your work will directly support the broader transportation ecosystem &ndash; including thousands of small and medium-sized businesses &ndash; make the move towards clean energy. You will be an integral part of our founding team, collaborating closely with customers to build our product, help define the culture, and wearing the many other hats that come with this stage!
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Take a hands-on approach to the entire development lifecycle: design, implement and deploy complex software platforms, perform day-to-day project management, and set strategic goals for the team</li>
<li>Collaborate with key stakeholders through the product development process to plan, build, and launch new product components</li>
<li>Contribute to the expansion of our engineering function by sourcing and hiring skilled developers</li>
<li>Act as an evangelist for the right technical solutions and help us in fostering a positive and collaborative culture</li>
<li>Define and measure success to feed future data-driven decisions</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience managing the technology stack of a new product (front end, backend, cloud, CI/CD)</li>
<li>Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Typescript, JavaScript), modern web frameworks (e.g., React), and cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, GCP)</li>
<li>Prior full-stack engineering experience in a fast-growth organization and ideally a track record of building scalable software solutions from scratch</li>
<li>Great communication, collaboration, and execution skills</li>
</ul>
Nice to haves:
<ul>
<li>Experience or interest in the supply chain, industrials, transportation space</li>
<li>Ideally Los Angeles-based or if remote, willing to travel more frequently in the early days</li>
<li>Degree in Computer Science and / or Electrical Engineering</li>
</ul>
