SUMMARY

Nexamp is looking for a skilled sales individual to join our Business Development team. The Senior Sales Representative, Solar Energy will assist the broader Business Development team in all stages of the sales process: from initial prospect identification and screening to negotiation and final execution of credit sale contracts and behind the meter power purchase agreements in active Nexamp markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify opportunities and cultivate client relationships through inbound and outbound lead generation
  • Support Business Development’s rooftop lead generation campaigns in select markets
  • Originate, negotiate, and close offtake transactions in assigned markets, including offsite and behind the meter transactions. 
  • Perform electricity usage and cost analysis for potential clients
  • Respond to Requests for Proposals and other energy procurement opportunities
  • Work closely with other Nexamp internal teams, including Asset Management, Billing, and Customer Account Management, to ensure a seamless customer experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 + years of experience in a sales role, with a preference for experience at a renewable energy firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
