About the positionWe are looking for an experienced Python backend software engineer to join our Software Development Department. You will develop our products based on user, product and business requirements, in collaboration with your Team Leader, Architect and the Product Department.Our products are used by shipping company engineers and captains to optimise the technical operations and navigation of their vessels based on our in-house developed AI and optimisation algorithms. You will need to gain a good understanding of the domain and our research output to design improvements that make our backend infrastructure scalable and cover our customers’ needs.Our cloud platform is hosted on AWS, and we are in the process of transitioning our infrastructure to container orchestration using EKS.
