Position Summary
The Accounts Payable & Cost Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable (“AP”) function and cost analysis in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. As the Accounts Payable & Cost Specialist, you will be tasked with vendor communication, processing and paying invoices, standardizing AP procedures & internal controls and supporting Finance/Operations with cost analysis efforts as we continue to grow. This role will be highly collaborative with business partners across Omnidian’s Finance and Operations teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own and manage the AP inbox – respond to email inquiries of vendor activity, invoice status, past due issues, statement review, etc.
• Complete daily invoice processing for Omnidian's national network of field service partners and corporate vendors
• Work collaboratively with our internal teams to drive invoice validation process, ensuring accuracy and approval in an efficient manner
• Complete regular operational ticket review to confirm successful completion of field service and payment validation
• Perform ongoing cost analysis efforts to illustrate business insights at a customer, service provider, and business segment level
• Own vendor maintenance inclusive or registering new field service partners / vendors to Omnidian's accounting software portal and managing the annual 1099 process
• Support monthly accounting close and annual financial statement audits
• Aid in implementation of standard procedures and internal controls to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the Accounts Payable function

• 2+ years of direct experience in Accounts Payable, financial operations and/or cost management
• 2+ years of Solar PV Industry/Project Management experience preferred
