Job Description

OverviewNIO USA Inc. is currently seeking an IT Specialist contractor to join our small but fast-paced team in San Jose, CA. You will be working onsite as part of our Digital Development team. The individual will be on the front lines of NIO’s IT System support.  You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues and assist with the daily operations primarily for NIO San Jose and global offices. These duties will be performed in compliance with policy guidelines and within the team’s SLA as well as additional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and provide solutions for end user device issues in person and remotely
  • Help maintain IT systems and facilities, e.g., Printers, conferencing audio/video equipment, etc.
  • Summarize and submit detailed service reports as needed
  • Create detailed documentation for internal procedures
  • Effectively work with team to implement and deploy global applications and services
  • Serves as the first point of contact for walk-ups and incident/service request
  • Ability to troubleshoot wireless and wired network issues
  • Prioritize day to day operations of Service Desk tickets and projects
  • Assist with on-boarding and terminations of employees
  • Ensure compliance to IT and security policies
  • Drives improvements, standardization, and maintenance for systems and services
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience of enterprise IT operation and support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including documentation skills
  • Experience in managing or maintaining majority of the following: Active Directory, Exchange, Office365, Azure, ITSM, JIRA/Confluence, SharePoint, Windows 10 and PowerShell, SCCM, and Apple MDM
  • Experience with Zoom, Cisco VoIP, Polycom, and video conferencing equipment
  • Experienced knowledge with Windows/Mac imaging and support
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fluid/fast-paced environment with constant change and with the ability to follow direction/instructions
