The Operations Manager for the Savory Institute will provide management, guidance and leadership for all of the Savory Institute’s operational platforms and structures. This position will work in support of the Savory Institute team providing the maintenance, management and development of the systems and tools that will allow work to operate efficiently and scale effectively. These systems include numerous SAAS tools utilized by the organization across various departments, ranging from standard business tools (G Suite, Salesforce, Slack, Airtable, and Dropbox) to more industry-specific platforms (Zendesk, ActiveCampaign, Classy, and Zapier) and custom platforms built specifically for Savory Institute’s programs, all of which provide functional support for multiple teams within the organization.
In addition to operational tools and platforms, the Operations Manager will be the primary liaison for the Savory Institute’s online store and e-commerce activities, and the primary owner of all customer service and knowledge base functions. The tools under management include Zendesk, Shopify, Classy, Fulfillrite, Teachable and others.
The Operations Manager will also work closely with department heads to deeply understand current processes, procedures, and pain points and work directly with those departments to facilitate the introduction and development of new processes and procedures that will allow for greater efficiency and operational scaling.
This position will also assist in numerous other areas of operations that are currently unforeseen as our organization grows and develops.
