Raw Materials Commodity Buyer

Responsibilities :

• Abides purchasing VERKOR code of Ethics
• Applies defined supplier strategies
• Manages the procurement category(ies) under his responsibility :
• Full understanding of the market and suppliers in the category (market intelligence)
• Evaluation of the risks
• Qualification of new suppliers in coordination with prescriber, ESG team and quality team
• Management of RFQ (Request For Quotation) and participate to supplier selection
• Negociation of procurement terms for goods and services and include them in a contract
• Participation to ESG, traceability, PPAP (production part approval process) or SAT+FAT for supplier/component qualification
• Evaluation of supplier performance 
• Management of cost reduction initiatives with suppliers and prescriber 

Technical Skills :

• Bachelor/Master degree or similarly experience
• 1-4 years experience
• Microsoft Office Suite
• English, Mandarin is a plus
• Strategic sourcing 
• Legal skills
• International Trade management (insurance, bank guarantee etc)
