<h2 dir="ltr">The role</h2>
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to support our Country Director and Technical Director in Perth. You will connect with new and potential clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships.
You will conduct market research, provide support on pitches and proposals, and identify new business opportunities. You will also collaborate with various other team members across the business in London and Shanghai.
You will be highly resourceful, organised and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for ways to improve the process.
<h2 dir="ltr">What will you be doing?</h2>

Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Providing tactical support on client projects and support client management
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Collating and maintaining client information in Hubspot (our CRM system).
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Working across functions to implement growth strategies for Consulting and Tech sales.
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analysing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Assist with drafting pitches, presentations, proposals, reference material, and other documents as required.
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Managing multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Identifying new business opportunities and partners.
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
Occasional travel domestically and internationally for conferences and events
</li>

<h2 dir="ltr">What we&rsquo;re looking for (the essentials):</h2>

Demonstrable understanding of mining, mineral processing, environmental sciences or geology (e.g. degree in).
