EnergyHub is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to become a customer evangelist, helping us meet our revenue targets by effectively demonstrating the value of our EV solution to the market. As the Senior EV Product Marketing Manager at EnergyHub, you will play a pivotal role in driving success by strategically positioning and promoting our EV solution in the utility industry and climate tech space. This senior role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, advanced product knowledge, ability to lead cross-functionally, and apply marketing expertise. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical and able to conduct sophisticated quantitative analyses, while also excelling at synthesizing and telling a captivating story to diverse audiences. Extensive experience managing cross-functional projects is essential. Experience with electric utilities or the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
What you will contribute:
- Lead Market Insights and Strategy: Become an expert on our customers and the challenges they face around EV adoption. Use these insights to inform and shape our market strategy and product positioning.
- Customer Evangelism: Disseminate and evangelize our client insights across the company, ensuring all teams are aligned with our customer-centric approach.
- Strategic Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and EV solution-level narratives that align with our company positioning to target utilities, EV drivers, and auto OEMs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and support our Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users of our EV solution.
- Content and Collateral Development: Oversee the creation of compelling and persuasive product marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product fact sheets, presentations, website content, and case studies highlighting our EV solution.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new EV solution launches and features, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales enablement.
- Competitive Analysis and Market Trends: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify EV market trends, positioning strategies, and opportunities for differentiation. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and messaging.
- Content Strategy: Inform the content roadmap with EV audience insights. Collaborate with our internal Integrated Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across channels and to develop content for events.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Sales, Client Success, Market Development, and Marketing teams to gather product information, conduct market research, and refine messaging and positioning.
- Performance Measurement: Measure and analyze the effectiveness of EV-specific product marketing initiatives, track key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and provide guidance to ensure the overall success of the product marketing function.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the broader marketing and company goals.
What you bring to EnergyHub:
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology, energy, or automotive industry
- Strong understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging
- Demonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams such as product management, sales, client success, and engineering
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive environmental impact
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
